Paralyzed Woman Can Move Robotic Arm With Her Mind

Cathy Hutchinson is a great example of science fiction becoming reality. In a world where Vanilla Ice is still invited to play at sporting events, Cathy, a woman who was paralyzed 15 years ago by a stroke, can move a robotic arm with her thoughts. A computer chip smaller than a dime had been implanted in her brain. The teeny chip turns her thoughts into code which a computer reads and sends to the robotic arm as commands.
